Condylox (podofilox topical) is used to treat both genital warts and actinic keratosis found externally on the surface of the skin. When used as directed, this drug has been shown to be very effective in treating both of these medical conditions.
Is a skin condition found usually in people who have fair skin and are frequently exposed to direct sun light. Usually resembling freckles, actinic keratosis can take on several shapes and colors, and if left untreated can potentially develop into a form of skin cancer.
This drug has been proven to be very effective when used as directed to treat external genital warts and actinic keratosis. Usually it will take three to four weeks of continued treatment for this drug to eliminate all external genital wart growths.
If used as directed and under the supervision of a doctor there is a very high likelihood that this drug will work to effectively eliminate all of your external genital warts in a private and painless manner.
There are some potential side effects that can occur when using this drug.
Only use this drug as directed by a doctor. Always wash your hands following an application and refrain from sexual intercourse during treatment days. Women who are pregnant, expecting or currently nursing should advise their doctor before taking this drug.
Always make sure to tell your doctor about any and ALL of the drugs that you are taking even if they are over-the-counter, as well as any other topical treatments or gels to avoid any potentially dangerous drug interactions. Your doctor may advise you not to combine any other topical creams, gels or ointments when using this drug.
