Clarinex (desloratadine) is a prescribed antihistamine which is used to treat patients who suffer from chronic allergies, seasonal allergies, hay fever or allergic reactions.
Hay fever is a reoccurring chronic allergy that is most commonly experienced in the springtime, when most of the plants and flowers are blooming and produce high amounts of pollen in the air. Clarinex has been clinically proven to reduce or eliminate the symptoms associated with allergies and can help to treat hay fever.
Allergic Rhinitis is caused when there are too many allergens in the air and they are breathed in. The immune system overreacts and produces histamines to defend the body. These histamines are what causes the symptoms associated with Allergic Rhinitis.
You should only take Clarinex as directed to by your physician or your pharmacist. Typically you will be directed to take it once per day, with a full glass of water. If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. If you are near the time when you should take your next dose, skip the missed dose.
