Prevacid (lansoprazole) is a prescription anti-acid medication which is used to treat heartburn, acid reflux and stomach ulcers.

In order to avoid experiencing any drug interactions it is important that you let your doctor know about any and ALL drugs that you are currently taking, even if they were purchased over-the-counter. People who are taking medicines containing the following drugs (Nizoral), ampicillin (Omnipen, Principen), digoxin (Lanoxin, Lanoxicaps), and iron (Feosol, Mol-Iron, Fergon, Femiron), should let their doctor know as they can limit the effectiveness of Prevacid when combined.
