However, there are criticisms of the implants because of all the complications that can happen with them.

Like any implant, a penile implant has several possible issues that could threaten your health. <\/span><\/p>\n

Some of those are associated with the surgery and others can happen post-surgery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Uncontrolled Bleeding<\/b><\/h3>\n

One of the possible issues is uncontrolled bleeding occurring post-surgery. <\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>his can be common, depending on the patient and the surgeon\u2019s skill. This can result in additional surgery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Infection<\/b><\/h3>\n

Infections are one of the most prominent problems associated with penile implants. Metal, which is what the bars are made of most of the time, are magnets to infection. <\/span><\/p>\n

So, if there is any type of infection in your body, even from a cold or kidney infection, it could move into the bars in your penis. The worst-case scenario is it could cause sepsis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mechanical Failure<\/b><\/h3>\n

Mechanical failure is always possible when you are dealing with a device and that would require additional surgery. <\/span><\/p>\n

The rate of failure for the type of device you are getting should be given to you before you decide to get the surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing to remember is a penile implant doesn\u2019t necessarily make your lovelife better. <\/span><\/p>\n
