Do you Develop Diabetes or are you Born With It?

Diabetes is a very complex  condition, and there are several factors that come together for a person to
develop type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

It is hereditary, but it can also get acquired and developed because of your lifestyle, obesity, and other
underlying factors.

Are you born with diabetes?

Type 2 diabetes can be inherited because it is linked to your genetics and family history.

However, not everyone will get it, even with a family history of the disease.

But it will most likely be developed if you are not careful.

You are not born with diabetes per say, but you are born with the genetic traits for diabetes, and you must be extra careful with what you eat if your parents or siblings have type 2 diabetes.

Is diabetes developed?

Type 1 and type 2 diabetes is developed.

Even if you are not born with the genetic traits, you can still get the disease if you are not careful.

To avoid getting diabetes you need to watch your diet, lose weight, and exercise regularly, whether it runs the family or not.

Is type 1 and type 2 diabetes hereditary?

Both types of diabetes can be hereditary. However, type 2 diabetes has a stronger link to lineage than type 1.

However, there are more factors to consider if you don’t want to get the disease, such as your lifestyle or even  environmental factors.

Cold  weather and living in places with cold climates are often linked to people who get type 1 diabetes.

Early diet can also play a significant role because type 1 diabetes is less common in people who were breastfed.

On the other hand, type 2 diabetes has stronger evidence that it is hereditary.
