8 Creative Date Night Ideas

Whether you’re looking to spice up your stagnant relationship or trying to impress a first date, we’ve got some ideas that go beyond the standard coffeeshop meet-up. Check out these 8 creative ideas for your next night (or day) out with your special lady!

  1. Take a winery or brewery tour. Find out which your date prefers and sign up for a local tasting or tour. Prepare to take a bottle or growler home as a souvenir of your fun night together.
  1. Go rock climbing. First, make sure you lady isn’t scare of heights or doesn’t have an injury that would prevent her from being able to climb. Don’t try to make it surprise or she may not be wearing appropriate clothing.
  1. Play miniature golf. If you can enjoy a silly “sport” and be around families with kids, a round or two of mini golf can provide a non-competitive evening of enjoyment. Be sure to take photos at some of the more impressive holes’ architecture.
  1. Head to an escape room. There are few better ways to demonstrate to a woman she’d be safe in a heated situation than by showcasing your sleuth skills. On the flip side, don’t be surprised if her brains rival her beauty!
  1. Take in the stars at a planetarium. It’s romantic and you might just learn a thing or two about the constellations. As an added bonus, the room will be dark.
  1. Take a cooking class. If you’re already a great cook, a class on knife skills or French cuisine will just make you look that much more appealing. If you survive on Ramen noodles, a three-hour course may be just what you need to learn the basics.
  1. Go to a trampoline park. Assuming you’re both fit and healthy enough to jump, an indoor trampoline park that allows adults can be a great way to work up an appetite.
  1. Pack a picnic for an outdoor concert. Picnics never go out of style because they’re classy! Just make sure you find out if you date has any food allergies, then stock up on crusty bread, chocolate, cheese, sliced meats, grapes and wine (if it’s allowed). You may need to confirm that you can bring in alcohol and since many venues don’t’ allow glass, pick up some plastic wine glasses.
