The Colors You Wear Can Impact Your Relationships

Every color you wear will evoke an emotion in another person. Use specific colors to represent power, passion, trustworthiness, or elegance. Don’t be afraid to test out different color shirts, blazers, jackets, or even shoes to your advantage at work and in relationships.

Striking Blue

Blue is a safe choice and a common one for men to wear. It shows trustworthiness, honesty, and loyalty. The shades vary from baby blue to teal to indigos so find a color you love.

Playful orange

Playful, and representing enthusiasm, orange is another obvious color to pick for shirts and T-shirts. Show others you are full of vitality and fun by sporting an orange tie to work.

Amorous red

Red has various meanings, so choose your clothing colors for the response you want that day. It can show passion and love for a romantic date night. But it can also represent blood, danger, and aggression.

Red combines well with other colors, so even adding a touch of red can reveal you are a power player.

Luxurious black

Black is generally tied to power, mystery, and elegance. Since it is a neutral color you can mix and match easily for your suits, slacks, jeans, and T-shirts. Of course, black shoes never go out of style.

Tranquil sage

A color you may not have thought about is sage. Dapper Confidential explains that “It functions like a “nature” shade – hence, you can play it against other greens, it cools down yellows, and enhances the earthiness of browns, particularly deeper, chocolate-based tones, and beige.”

Best of all, sage represents wisdom and peace, characteristics attractive to potential partners in the crazy dating scene.

Youthful lavender

Lavender shades bring to mind creativity, restfulness, and compassion. A button-down lavender shirt for a quiet night out is perfect because it represents tenderness.
